What Makes February So Special?

With only 3 days left to 2011...my next big holiday is MY BIRTHDAY!!! Woo hooo!  Shoutout to ALL my fellow AQUARIANS :)...anywhoo...besides that, there's Black History Month & Valentine's Day.  IDEA!!!  For the Kids & Teen Hip Hop Class we will perform what we learned in January (and the 1st week of February) during our Black History Month Showcase (February).  Adults...let's get a Valentine's routine ready for your special someone (we can showcase this too).  Hey, if you don't have one (yet)...it's better to have that routine on standby (lol-u know what I'm talkin' about) ;)..Classes are still $5 each!  Get in while you fit in!

Heart Smile

This week I met some great young ladies who made my heart smile.  Watching them dance from the heart and not the head was quite refreshing.  I was in class like "YES!" They get it...just have fun...let go and be free to be yourself.  Great spirits, positive energy, and good vibes is what I have encountered from the youngest to the oldest dancer.  I love when people are not pressed about what they can and can't do.  The fact that these ladies had the heart to come into a new environment, embrace the choreography, and made it their own was refreshing.  I can't wait to see what the next week brings :)...& If you ladies are reading...YOU GO GIRLS!!!  

Someone is in the Holiday Spirit!

So... Thanksgiving came and went.  Had a great time with my family by the way (I ate, laughed, ate, played, ate...well u get the picture)...anywhoo- I missed the Black Friday Sales and Cyber Monday came and went...and I didn't buy one thing (smh).  I'm sure that I am NOT the only one!  How many of you put up your holiday decorations?  I DID I DID I DID...and yes, I am listening (and singing) to holiday music...I am officially in the Holiday Spirit!  Since the big business retailers aren't going to revisit their Black Friday discounts, check out my "Specials" page for deep discounts on dance classes.  It may seem crazy, but when you love to dance, shake my tailfeather, and meet new people...it's worth it!
